Prayer Requests for the Week of August 17:
Nellie Gulker passed away unexpectedly this past Wednesday. As a congregation, we extend our Christian sympathy to her family and to Brian & Melissa Gulker and their family in the loss of their grandmother. The funeral was held yesterday in Bethel church.
We remember Trina Moss as she recovers from corrective surgery last Tuesday at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. The surgery was successful and she is slowly recuperating.
Peter Hoogland has returned to the Avera McKennen Senior Behavioral Health Hospital for continued treatment.
This coming week, Jan & Dona Buyert and their children, Bryton and Cheyenne, will be moving to Sheridan, Wyoming. As a congregation we bid them farewell and wish for them God’s blessings as they adapt to their new surroundings.
We remember Marie Shepherd in the Hillcrest Care Center in Hawarden and we rejoice with Marie and her family as she celebrated her 99th birthday on Friday, August 8!
